A Little About The Recipe: Keto Simple Tangy Sauce

Keto Simple Tangy Sauce originally made its debut back in Delicious Low Carb Paleo Beefburgers. I used it on the beefburger as a burger sauce. I suggested doubling up the recipe and mixing it into a simple salad in my recommendations for that post. So it is entirely due to that recommendation that I thought Keto Simple Tangy Sauce deserved its very own recipe card. And then, looking at a rather bare posting with just a recipe card, I felt a bit rude.  So, I’m doing a little mini-post deserving of Keto Simple Tangy Sauce, which has begun by bringing you up to date on my thought process thus far.

What’s a meal without a that little extra?

Often with many salads and plain meats, the sauces, dressings, and vinaigrettes make the meal.  Without them, we would be looking down at a plate of rabbit or bear food, trying to summon up the desire to get stuck in – and failing. Not that I’m knocking the rabbit or bear food… okay, I am, but I’m not a rabbit or a bear; I need a bit of something to inspire my taste buds. The point is one can never have enough simple condiments to whip up in a jiffy and serve with whatever happens to be on the menu. So, here’s another one to add to your collection.

In the recipe, I advocate for Easy Homemade Mayonnaise as the base. This is because you will know what’s going into it as many store-bought mayonnaises hide undesirable extras. But the choice is up to you.  So, go with what you like and what is healthy for you.

I Recommend This For: Keto Simple Tangy Sauce

Which particular diet this recipe is good for depends on whether you can get the original ingredients in your own diet.  Up till now, I still cannot obtain a paleo Dijon mustard in Malta.  Meaning that every time I make easy homemade mayonnaise, it is at best paleo-ish, no strict paleo or whole30 as yet. Other countries might fair better as more wholesome, natural products are continuing to spread rapidly.

It is entirely suitable for keto and Atkins’ Diet Revolution for Ongoing Weight Loss to spruce up their dinners or lunches with. A few things I can suggest for both diets are Tomato Twisted Tuna Burgers, Sirloin Steak or dressing up an impromptu salad.

Keto Simple Tangy Sauce is a condiment that does ‘exactly what it says on the tin’.  It’s simple, and it’s tangy – thanks to the apple cider vinegar and tomato puree.  You can serve it with anything that can take a tangy taste, salads, beef, pork etc.
