Just brussels sprouts, some olive oil, salt and pepper roasted in the oven for a simple tasty side dish.

Ingredients
  

  • 500 g brussels sprouts (17.6oz)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat a fan assisted oven to 200 deg C (400 deg F).
  • Remove the hard 'tail' end of the brussels sprouts and cut the sprouts in half.
  • Mix the olive oil, salt, pepper and brussels sprouts together.
  • Line a baking tray with baking paper and lay out the brussels sprouts.
  • Roast for 20 mins, turn over the sprouts at 10 mins.
  • Serve.
