In almost all recipes, this will be the total carbs per person.
The exception is condiments, where the total carbs are shown per recipe. The amount to use is then up to the individual.
Protein takes priority over fat content
The instructions given in the original 1972 version of his diet by Dr Atkins’ was to focus on protein consumption as a priority.
Those struggling to lose weight on this diet, even when adhering to a strict carb content limit, should take a look at the fat content and take steps to reduce it.
