Cheddar Cheese and Garlic Mayo Dressing

Cheesy and garlicky! A great tasting and strong but not too strong dressing. It pairs up nicely with beef, chicken and pork and works as a dip for crudites or a dressing for salads.

This takes less than five minutes!!! I am throwing that out there before you dismiss this delicious cheesy dressing as too much hassle, click to go back, and potentially lose a great little dip, dressing, all-round condiment for almost anything. There is nothing to cook, nothing much to even do. The longest time is spent grating the cheese, and even that can be bought from the store already done if you need.  Excuses have now been blown out the window, now you have to stay and read! 

Usually, those on keto or Atkins have some mayonnaise handy in the fridge.  With my personal digestive difficulties, it’s a rare occasion I don’t have some Easy Homemade Mayonnaise residing in the fridge somewhere.  For keto or Atkins’ Diets, it’s pretty much a shopping staple.  This makes it easy just to scoop out ¼ cup (60ml) for a loftier purpose.

This Cheddar Cheese and Garlic Mayo Dressing is great tasting and strong – but not too strong – it pairs up nicely with beef, chicken and pork and works as a cheese dip for crudites or a dressing for salads.  I can’t say it’s best for fish or seafood from my point of view, but try it if you like – whatever floats your boat!

  • Grate the cheese.
  • Put everything in the same bowl.
  • Mix everything with a spoon until thoroughly incorporated.
  • Not all mayonnaises are equally thick. As a dressing this is meant to be poured but not too runny. If yours is too thick add another 1 tbsp of water. For a dip go without.
  • Serve.
